An eight month pregnant woman died due to Covid-19

An eight month pregnant woman living in Gampaha died due to Covid-19. The pregnant woman named Sadunika Alawatta has been admitted to a private hospital due to Covid infection.

Later, her eight-month-old baby was born healthy after undergoing surgery.

However, the mother was admitted to the Ragama Teaching Hospital due to her serious condition and died there.

She was 31 when she died. However, it is reported that the baby is in good health.
