CEB to reduce power cuts if rain continues – Power Minister
Minister of Power and Energy Kanchana Wijesekara said that the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) will reduce the power cuts during the weekend due to increase in hydro generation and low energy demand.
In a tweet he said if rain continues to the catchment areas, CEB will keep the power cuts to a minimum. “However CEB will manage the water resources available for future power generation,” he said.
